Graceland University values the student experience and understands the impact that the physical environment can have on their journey through higher education. The Morden Center is an iconic building on campus, often described as the “Center of the Universe” at Graceland. Almost every student, not just athletes, comes through this facility on a regular basis. Built in 1969, this building is also very unique as there are currently only three of these specific roof structures remaining in the United States. Work consisted of a complete demo and replacement of the 60,000 SF roof structure as well as a 38,000 SF remodel of the track, basketball, and volleyball courts. The lighting and HVAC systems also received a complete overhaul. Graceland University’s investment in this beloved and unique structure will ensure that the Morden Center continues to be a focal point of campus for decades to come.
