Scope Of Work
This is an upscale dealership in the metro Atlanta, GA marketplace. The owner wanted his facility to be remembered by those who came to visit. Therefore, he considered the impact of a high visibility, unique flooring system which could hold up to his showroom needs.
This metallic epoxy system is made up of a moisture vapor barrier base coat, upon which a reflector coat of black epoxy was placed. Once dried, a very thick coat of epoxy was floated across the entire floor. It was made up of clear epoxy and a blend of coffee and brass metallic pigments which were blended on site.
Once the floor dried, it was sanded and multiple coats of thick urethane were applied, sanded between each coat. The result is stunning. Depending upon the direction you are moving across the floor, the metallics will reflect differently and provide a depth to the floor unlike anything you have ever seen. These floors are difficult to photograph as they are so shiny. The client wanted a floor his customers would remember. Polished Concrete Atlanta delivered.
