Scope Of Work
9,000 SF - Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation is a clinical sect of Memorial Hermann that provides physical therapy treatment and service. This clinic was designed into a pre-existing space on Shepherd and Kirby Dr. Memorial Hermann and is an official Iron Man sponsored rehabilitation clinic. The front entrance incorporates a custom display case to feature sports equipment and illustrations from notable athletes. The clinical and rehabilitation area is made expansive through the use of insetting the nurse station and adding only a half-height wall to separated beds from equipment. A special section of the open area is dedicated to a faux grass field running the length of the space. In the rear a 360 degree body scanning room was designed to optimize athlete performance and rehabilitation.
