Scope Of Work

The Eco-restoration was an effort to return Spring Lake in San Marcos, Texas to its natural state by removing large metal debris.

The work scope involved removing a large section of corrugated pipe by using underwater cutting methods. A crane was attached to two platforms to secure the platforms for the divers to cut the legs below the water line to remove the platforms. Using the underwater cutting method, two sections of the steel I-beam were also removed.

The four-point lifting method was used to remove two submarine theaters from the lake.  Divers ran belly cables under the sub and connected them to the crane topside. The crane then lifted the sub onto shore.
