Scope Of Work
CPWG Engineer, Mike Stalzer (Mesa Engineering), designed the Castle Rock Resort and Water Park in Branson, Missouri. The design of 50,000 square foot commercial development including an indoor water park. Engineering design including sanitary sewer service, water main extension, site grading, erosion and sediment control and stormwater management, retaining wall and landscape design.
The resort consists of 190 rooms with six different styles to choose from. The 30,000 square foot waterpark is split into indoor and outdoor sections. The indoor section contains a 5’ deep indoor lap pool, large tube slide, corkscrew slide, activity pools, and a 600-foot lazy river on the mezzanine level. At the center of the indoor area is the Activity Pools with a rain tree, 500-gallon tipping bucket, multiple themed kiddie slides, and waterfalls for the little ones to splash around in.
The outdoor area consists of a swimming pool, splash pool, and deck area. The Outdoor Kiddie Splash Pool has an additional rain tree, 500-gallon tipping bucket, and multiple themed kiddie slides. To complete the design there is a multi-level sun deck with two covered levels with seating and tables and an uncovered level for sunbathing.
