Brian Higgins came to THS in October 2007, during the early days of the company. Once he took the helm of our books and backroom operations, the company quickly grew from 2-3 employees into the double digits. Nine years later he is still our major financial guide, and his equal affinities for detail and big picture operations help steer the company.

Though his responsibilities are behind the scenes, Brian’s numerical knowledge lowers costs for us and our clients, making him a valuable player for our front-line image.

When he’s not crunching numbers and sifting through spreadsheets, Bryan likes to go boating and coach youth soccer.

Our founder, Kevin, started THS based on his own guiding principles. A team player and hobbyist inventor, THS reflects his own love of community and discovery.

As someone who touches all areas of our business, Kevin is accountable “to both no one and everyone.” The one group he is always accountable to is our customers, and his business decisions follow that philosophy. His inventive side runs parallel, and he has pushed the company towards forward-thinking mixed-use projects, regional expansion and other pivotal business decisions.

In his spare time, Kevin seeks the same challenges that pepper his workday. He volunteers for veteran service projects, and is always working on an invention. His current project is an aquaponic food growth system.

Dimitris joined our team in 2016 as Director of Operations. A native of Georgia, Dimitris has worked in operations for twenty years throughout the Southeast. After obtaining his degree in Industrial Engineering, Dimitris worked his way up in large-scale manufacturing companies and has hands on experience in every facet of operations.

In his spare time, Dimitris enjoys Georgia Tech Football, golf and more golf and spending long weekends with his brother in the woods; however, as a newlywed, he is also learning that his spare time now belongs to his beautiful wife.

For Will, communities are king.

His journey to that conclusion began in college, where he lived in a run-down apartment in a shady part of town. There, he found hardworking and thoughtful neighbors who became a bit of a second family. Later in life, he hooked up with THS through local apartment organizations. Seeing our company as an opportunity to make a national impact, he was eager to jump on board.

Will has never lost that spark. He is very much a motivator, a quality that serves him well in growing our business. His high influence and approachability keep us laser-focused on our mission of building communities.

Will continues to serve his community through several arts and human services organizations.

Dane Allen, a member of our team since 2010, joined our group to head up Sales and Operations in Raleigh during the early years of THS’ growth in to new markets. A native of Apex, North Carolina, Dane has had a close thumb on the pulse of the real estate demographics in the area and was quickly able to grow a team through strong relationship building and well performing renovation projects.

Dane started his career in construction as a home builder, and has built custom high performance NAHB Green Certified homes throughout Wake, Orange, and Moore counties through his career. At his local Apartment Association (TAA) Dane has served as the Co-Chair of the Products and Services Committee for 3 years and currently serves on the Board of Directors. Some of Dane’s accreditations. in personal drive for growth in the Apartment Industry, are obtaining his NAAEI-Certified Apartment Supplier (CAS) certification in 2013 and NAAEI-Advanced Instructor Training (AIT), National Faculty Membership in 2014.

Dane received a Bachelor of Science Degree with concentration in Construction Management from East Carolina and like most others from ECU, is a proud Pirate. Because of his hard work and successes, Dane focuses his free time to enjoy family life, snowboarding in the winter, and riding his dirt bike and Harley all summer.

Jon started his career in single-family, residential homebuilding. He found multi-family construction through reconnecting with an old colleague, and stayed for the challenge, variety and lasting impact of his work.

Despite the differing goals, Jon’s previous background is a valuable asset. The things that make single-family homes valuable – curb appeal, cutting-edge décor, reliable maintenance – are all easily transferred to multi-family renovation projects.
