Scope Of Work
PJ Dick, with Joint Venture Partner Barton-Malow, provided Construction Management at Risk services for a 300,000 sf, 156-bed hospital on the 15-acre site in Monroeville, Pennsylvania. The exterior facade on the six-story structure is a combination of brick and glass on the podium levels and curtainwall on the patient tower floors. Program highlights include: 16 ICU beds, 126 Medical/Surgical Beds, 14 airborne infection isolation rooms, 12 Emergency treatment spaces consisting of two triage, six exam, two isolation & two resuscitation bays, surgery and Cardiac Care including 7 operating rooms, two procedure rooms and two cath labs along with 20 prep and recovery beds, 4 Endoscopy Procedure Rooms, Cancer Center with LINAC, MRI, CT, and General Radiology Rooms. The project scope also included construction of a 4-story, 170,000 sf parking garage constructed for 460 vehicles adjacent to the new facility. The project is LEED Silver certified.
