Scope Of Work
This is a reposition and adaptive reuse of a three building, 300,000 s.f. campus in North San Jose. The Assembly at North First Street consists of a complete gut of all three existing tilt-up buildings, the addition of 50,000 s.f. to the existing buildings, warm shell build out, new HVAC systems, and one acre of site work. New construction includes a “connector” between two buildings and additions on buildings 3960 and 3930. A new lobby was cut out and rebuilt on building 4000. Major demolition included a two-story cleanroom that will be built out as a new mezzanine by the new tenant.
The one acre amenity space includes landscape, an indoor/outdoor workout area, BBQ area, outdoor pizza ovens, outdoor fires, and seating.
Highlight
The focal point of this project is known as the “Paseo” and is the 50,000 s.f. that was added to the buildings by connect two thirty year-old buildings. The amount of work and coordination included in a scope such as this was tremendous. Our teams worked together with the owner, design, and trade partners to construct this beautiful and grand entrance to the campus.
