Todd Brown, founder of the Brown Church Development Group, began his
ministry as a walk-on for Coach Tom Osborne at the University of
Nebraska. He played wide receiver for the Huskers from 1978-1982,
while studying Engineering and Construction Management. Utilizing the
influence being a Nebraska football player provided him, Todd was
actively involved with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA)
organization, sharing his testimony and advancing the gospel in
hundreds of churches and schools.
Driven by his love for Christ and the local church, he recognized a
need for integration and collaboration within the church building
process. His passion to see each church realize its full potential
while avoiding the typical roadblocks to success led him to create the
Brown Church Development Group. The result has been the relentless
development of methods and processes that help the local church
clarify its ministry, fulfill its mission, maintain its unity, and
remain faithful to its testimony and outreach. Todd, and the Brown
Church Development Group, have served hundreds of churches across the
nation, expanding the kingdom of God with over 1.5 million square feet
in church construction.

position a church for growth has impacted churches far beyond
traditional architecture and construction. Todd shares his expertise
and heart through workshops and speaking engagements throughout the country.
