J.D. Morris Construction

J.D. Morris Construction was established in 1993 and is located in McCalla, AL. We have experience in all types of construction and facility maintenance work.

We have been at US Steel Fairfield Works since 1993 completing countless facility maintenance and new construction projects. We also do the same type of work at Mercedes Benz USA located in Vance, AL. We have been a part of several expansions at the Mercedes Benz USA plant and have been onsite since 2003. J.D. Morris has satellite offices at both of these locations. We have completed numerous projects for Paper Mills, Lime Plants, Automotive suppliers, Power Plants, Steel Mills, and many other industrial facilities all over the state of Alabama. We have successfully performed many plant outage projects requiring extensive preplanning, scheduling, and supervision. We have successfully completed many public and private projects which include education, park and recreations, civil and infrastructure, commercial, churches, amusement parks, Government Owned and funded, and many others. We are always trying to grow and develop in all areas of the industry and also take on new challenges. Our goal is to complete a project that is of the highest quality, while staying within budget, and on schedule. We work together with our customers to make sure these goals are accomplished.

Safety has always been our top priority. We are proud that there has been no lost time accident since 2008. Our goal is ZERO Accidents and we continually try to educate and motivate our employees to work safely. We are always looking for ways to enhance and improve our safety program. We believe that no project is successful if it is not safe. We complete projects in some of the most difficult environments that require many challenges and safety is always top priority. You can be sure that when J.D. Morris is on your project that safety is at the forefront of our project. We keep our MSHA and OSHA training up to date to follow the safety guidelines and requirements at various facilities we complete projects at.
