Scope Of Work
1601 Lincoln is the first phase of the Lincoln Collection, a mixed-use multifamily project in downtown Santa Monica.
Construction is Type III-A modified with 4-stories of Type III wood over one-story of Type I-A construction with 2-½ levels of below grade parking. There are 89 residential units including studios and one and two-bedroom apartments.
The 77,758 sq. ft. building features ground floor retail space and amenities including a large pool and sun deck, a screening room and spacious lounge-entertainment space.
The property provides easy access to public transit including the Big Blue Bus, Santa Monica’s local rapid transit service. Residents may also catch the Metro Blue Line at 4th Street and Colorado Avenue. The transit-oriented community boasts a Walk Score of 93.
Site logistical planning is critical to the success of the project with the site situated at the intersection of Lincoln Boulevard (Highway 1) and Colorado Avenue and the Metro Line. The building’s foundation utilizes the entire lot footprint.
1601 Lincoln is pursuing LEED Platinum certification. The project features rooftop solar and has greywater re-reuse.
