Dennis Collier is the managing member of Dennis Collier Construction, LLC. He has been a residential builder in Pearl River County since 1992.
Prior to going into residential construction Dennis owned and operated a B.P. convenience store. His background includes a combined 15 years experience with Roussell Service Group and Gulf South Systems where he worked as an estimator, project manager, procurement manager, sales manager, and operations manager/business development.
Major jobs he was responsible for included multiple contracts with Chevron and the Department of Energy totaling $22.6 million dollars. He was a key contributor in the decision making to upgrade the company status from a Tank Storage Company to ASME Coded Vessel Fabrication Shop for major oil companies such as Exxon, Shell, Texaco and Marathon, where he was responsible for buying equipment and overseeing and coordinating the new equipment into the building. He also purchased all steel for the Fabrication Shop, and worked closely with the engineers to minimize material waste and maximize profits.
Dennis has been married since 1981. He has 2 children and 8 grandchildren. He is a stakeholder for Habitat for Humanity Pearl River County, sits on the Planning Commission Board for the City of Picayune and is currently serving as a Board Member of the Pearl River County Home Builders Association
