Chris Trent's Bio
Chris has been with the Company since 1999 managing projects and overseeing the Commercial Division as Vice President. While working effectively with the management team to help steer the company in its growth, and as senior project manager, he manages a very capable group of men and women on day-to-day project operations. Chris is involved in contract negotiations with owners for new projects and long-term contracts as well as contract administration for company subcontracts. His expertise in construction techniques and costs are called upon to help mediate contract disputes and arrive at fair settlements. Prior to coming to MS Commercial, Chris ran his own contracting business for several years and prior to that, learned the subtleties of general contracting in the high-end custom residential sector starting in 1986 after graduating from UC Berkeley. Most of his time now is in the commercial and development sector.

Mark Scott is a native Bay Area Resident, and a Third Generation General Building Contractor. Prior to starting his own , he worked as a Project Manager for a commercial builder that specialized in high end residential and commercial construction/tenant improvements throughout the greater Bay Area. Mark Scott is a very ‘hands on’ Owner and President, with experience in the Civil, Structural, and Architectural aspects of building. He has amassed a team of highly qualified individuals, resulting in the close-knit company of approximately 130 employees known as Mark Scott Construction. Mark Scott has carved a niche in this industry by focusing on reliable communication, prompt response, historical integrity, and meticulous attention to detail.
Troy Brincat's Bio
Troy Brincat is the CFO & Vice President of Mark Scott Construction, Inc. Troy has been with the company for over 20 years and oversees a majority of the operational functions for the company. This is includes accounting and financial, legal, insurance, human resources, and numerous other day-to-day operations. Troy holds a Bachelor of Science degree from California State University Hayward and a Master’s in Business Administration from University of the Pacific.

Alexander Alas's Bio
Alexander is the General Manager of MS Restoration overseeing all aspects of the Mitigation division. Alexander has been with the company for six years. He began his career in the construction field and found his niche working in restoration. In addition to overseeing daily operations of MS Restoration, he is committed to delivering high quality work to our clients. He prides himself on hard work, leadership and customer service. He was born in El Salvador and is a first-generation US Citizen. When he is not working, Alex enjoys camping with his family, golfing and off-road trucking.
Since 1990, Dave has been a strong partner in establishing Mark Scott Construction, Inc. as the premier contractor in the greater bay area.
While working hands on w/ Mark during the devastating Oakland hills fire, he saw the compassion Mark had for the homeowners and the dedication to his employees. Dave has the same passion for his customers and employees, as General Manager of the Fairfield Office. He oversees the day-to-day operations and estimates the majority of all jobs for his office. This allows him to be “hands on” with every job, each owner/client and affords him an insight for areas of growth or potential problems. His many years of construction experience has afforded him with a loyal client base, many return customers, lasting working relationships and dedicated employees.
Dave Bergamini's Bio

Dave grew up in Alamo, went to San Ramon High and attended DVC college. During his high school summers, he would work construction. From stacking lumber to framing, sheetrock, painting, drywall, etc., he learned from the ground up. He understands the complexity of jobs and his employees, which makes him a better manager (and Dad)!
Marc Hasselberg's Bio
With twenty years of experience in the flooring industry, Marc joined MSC in 2016 and has played an integral role in restructuring the flooring department and leading their exceptional team.
Marc's foundation as a flooring installer provided him valuable experience that he still draws on today to effectively run the day-to-day operations of the department. He is well versed in all varieties of flooring options from hardwoods to carpet and everything in between. Marc also specializes in environmentally friendly, sustainable, and high-end flooring allowing him to make unique recommendations for any needs a client may have. That being said, he often gets asked by estimators and insurance adjusters to lend his expertise in assessing projects before scopes are finalized to assure the final products selected and overall project exceed the client’s expectation.
His many years in the industry spent cultivating relationships with vendors, representatives, and other experts in the field are essential in finding just the right product and approach to help guide our clients through their next project. Whether it is small bathroom remodel, high end custom home, new building development or one of many commercial projects including churches and post offices he has been involved in – he always enjoys the challenge of finding just the right approach for every project.
In his free time Marc enjoys exploring all corners of the world, whether it be in his native Germany or the other end of the world, you’ll be hard pressed to find an adventure he isn’t up for.
Stephen D. Ricci's Bio
Stephen has been with the company since 2017 focusing on business development, large loss estimating in both the commercial and residential space as well as special project management. He manages the day-to-day operations of the office in North Bay Office but travels throughout the Bay Area in a number of different roles. He works with multiple insurance carriers consulting on a wide variety of claims, including wildfires, commercial, multi-family and contract disputes. Prior to coming to Mark Scott Construction, Stephen rose through the ranks from Multi-Line Adjuster to District Manager at the Global Claims Management firm, Cunningham Lindsey. This experience helped him develop relationships from the Midwest to Hawaii and beyond. Stephen graduated from the University of Rhode Island in 2000.
