Jeremy is a Building Scientist, Designer and Project Manager with 18
years of experience in the construction
industry. He previously
worked as Managing Director of Hyphae Design Laboratory, an ecological
design firm, was a
Research Associate with the Residential
Building Systems Group at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory,
and
worked as a project manager for ZETA Communities and Canyon
Construction. Jeremy also worked with
Architecture for Humanity,
Kleiwerks International and other non-profit organizations to develop
international lowincome sustainable housing solutions. Jeremy has
presented his research in conferences around the country, is a
LEED accredited professional and certified green builder. His research
is focused on cutting edge sustainable
building practices,
energy and air quality monitoring systems and Deep Energy Retrofits.
He has managed the
construction of multiple LEED platinum
projects in both commercial and residential construction. Jeremy
has
extensive project management experience in both conventional
and alternative construction, as well as design,
research and
development projects. He is proficient in 3D modeling, energy
modeling, energy monitoring and
design. Jeremy brings
innovation, building and material science, and an overall sustainable
building expertise to the
Hammond & Company team.
