The Mount Vernon Housing Authority of Mount Vernon, New York, has, with the cooperation of the New York State Division of Housing built for low-income families, apartments with facilities far superior to those ordinarily within the budget limitations for low-income groups --- apartments which are, in fact, comparable in generous open spaces, accessibility to light and air, and the beauty of design, to the finest apartments available anywhere.
