Denis Portaev brings outstanding academic achievement, a rooster of landmark projects and a wealth of executive experience to the team. During his career, Denis was in charge of such monumental projects as the Dominion Tower – Moscow’s only Zaha Hadid project, the Bridge across the Golden Horn Straight, the Mercury Tower, and tunnels and the key infrastructure projects of the Sochi Winter Olympics. Denis also managed construction on an entire neighborhood with 17,000,000 square feet of the mixed-use real estate - Kotelniki, in Moscow, Russia. After his move to NYC in 2016, he became the key person behind the DCD Construction’s meteoric growth. Denis holds MS in civil engineering, graduating cum laude, and a Ph.D. in civil engineering from Moscow State University of Civil Engineering. He authored a manual on post-tensioned concrete structures design and construction in 2011.
