Scope Of Work

Big-D Construction continues to leave its mark in the growing community of Colorado Springs, Colorado. Big-D is working with Weidner Apartment Homes and Humphreys & Partners Architects to construct the Elements at Briargate Apartment Homes. The new, 435,000-square-foot complex will sprawl across nearly 10 acres of undeveloped land located north of downtown Colorado Springs.

The project consists of 300 new apartment units that will be built within six new buildings. The buildings will vary between 3-to-4 levels. Throughout the property, there will be 26 carport structures. Near the entrance, construction is also underway on a stand-alone clubhouse, leasing, and fitness building that will provide additional amenities to residents.

The apartment homes will be managed by Weidner Apartment Homes. Residents will be living near the Promenade Shops at Briargate and the Chapels Hills Mall. The United States Air Force Academy is less than a mile from the new complex. South of Elements at Briargate is downtown Colorado Springs, The University of Colorado extension campus, and the U.S. Olympic Training Center.

Elements of Briargate is one of several projects that Big-D Construction is working on in Colorado Springs. Big-D, and Weidner Apartment Homes, have also teamed up to construct the Vista View II apartment complex and the La Bella Vita apartment complex. The project is expected to be complete in 2017.
