Scope Of Work

Working with the Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Destin, FL – the Bear General Contractors team is working with the congregation to provide a new 1,000 Square Foot addition and 8,000 Square Feet of renovation work to the existing campus. The New-Construction addition creates a new entry into the existing worship building with a large transitional Narthex area between the worship space and a new covered vestibule area. Also included in the addition are two new restrooms. Included with the new addition is a reworking of the existing grounds including new concrete sidewalks, landscaping, parking, and modifications to the existing irrigation system.

Within the worship sanctuary, a complete renovation of the space includes the removal and replacement of all pews with a new configuration, a new stage with built-in Air Conditioning and Ventilation, renovated confessional, cry room, and waiting spaces, in addition to a full lighting replacement and revitalization or replacement of existing finishes throughout. This project is scheduled for completion in late 2022.
