Overview
Orange County, Florida required complete clean closure to residential standards of a former firing range site containing 10,000 cyds of lead contaminated soil with lead levels in excess of 25,400 ppm.
MT2 Services
MT2’s turnkey firing range remediation tasks were performed in compliance with Florida DEP approved Remedial Action Plan. MT2 performed all excavation, soil processing and ECOBOND® treatment of impacted soils, placement of cleaned soils back on-site, and off-site disposal as nonhazardous waste of soils not meeting residential cleanup standards. MT2 maintained active air and storm water management to project standards.
Outcome
The County property was successfully remediated below established budget and achieved Florida DEP closure status.
