Overview
The City of Denver was closing their old facility and moving to a new facility. The City requested final cleaning of range to allow for demolition.
MT2 Services
MT2 performed a final firing range cleaning including lead reclamation for recycling; removing rubber granules from the rubber bullet trap; and performing final cleaning of the trap. MT2 utilized our proprietary systems to remove the rubber granules and separate the lead. These systems included vacuum units to recover greater than 98% of the lead for recycling to offset project costs. MT2 adhered to a strict schedule to meet the City’s overall demolition schedule. MT2 met this schedule by deploying high volume vacuum units and HEPA vacuums to perform the final cleaning.
Outcome
The City of Denver met their schedule and environmental requirements for closeout of their old trap firing range and could move into their new facility. MT2 met all schedule and safety requirements. MT2 recycled the lead and rubber granules to offset project costs.
