Overview
The US EPA Delatte Metals Battery Recycling Site included approximately 60,000 cubic yards of lead contaminated soil. MT2 was contracted to provide turnkey soil remediation utilizing ECOBOND® remediation technology and company services.
MT2 Services
Contaminated soil averaged approximately two feet to ten feet in depth. MT2 performed ex-situ ECOBOND® treatment of contaminated soil, allowing for disposal as a nonhazardous waste.
Outcome
The property was remediated of lead impacts and could be utilized for residential or other uses.
