Scope Of Work
Pacific Tech was contracted by NAVFAC SE to for the replacement of 120,000 Square Feet of roofing system on Building 794 at Naval Air Station Jacksonville, Florida. This project was for the replacement of an existing gravel-ballasted BUR roofing system with a new polyiso insulation, coverboard and an SBS torch-applied system. In addition, Pacific Tech Construction, Inc. rehabilitated the existing roof drains, installed new tapered crickets and installed all new sheet metal copings and associated flashings. This building is used to refurbish and assemble F404 and F414 engines used in the Navy’s F/A-18 and F/A-18E/F multi-role fighter jets so the building was fully operational during the construction activities and special care was taken to provide protection for all areas potentially impacted by work.
