Scope Of Work
This was a design-build project for the installation of a new roof over the existing system. Pacific Tech cleaned and prepared existing BUR roof and installed a high performance torch-applied modified bituminous roof membrane over mechanically fastened base sheet. The roof was extremely large (2,020 squares), and the hangar remained occupied and fully operational throughout the course of the project. Due to the proximity to the active flightline, there was limited access to the site. This required extensive logistical coordination to load the roof. This project was accomplished during the summer in Florida and heavy precipitation was encountered throughout the work. Despite these challenges Pacific Tech was able to complete the project four and a half months early.
