Darien Lee's Bio
Richard D. Lee (Darien) is a founding Partner of Prestwick with over 20 years of experience in the housing industry. Darien has a diverse background of skills and experience in multifamily and senior housing development, multifamily management, asset management, construction project management, and asset valuation.
Darien serves as the Chief Operating Officer for Prestwick focusing on business operations. He remains actively involved in the development process by providing corporate structure and leadership to all corporate staff with a concentration on the companies’ development project management and asset management teams. He also provides executive leadership within Prestwick’s construction company. By working closely with other Prestwick Partners, he also advises on the firm’s strategic direction, including expansion into new markets throughout the Southeast and South Central United States.
Jody Tucker's Bio
Wiley A. Tucker III (Jody) is the Chief Executive Officer of The Prestwick Companies, a Southeast regional multifamily development and construction company with proven leadership and a culture built on collaboration. He is responsible for the company’s mission, vision and expansion into new markets throughout the Southeast. He draws on his background in affordable housing to effectively provide leadership in business development, land acquisition, financial modeling and analysis, securing housing tax credit allocations and debt and equity capitalization. And, he works to develop strategic relationships with various government agencies, lenders, syndicators, and joint venture partners.
As a Founding Partner of the Prestwick Companies, Jody holds an Economics degree from the University of Georgia and brings over 15 years of experience in the multifamily housing industry to the firm. Throughout his career, Jody has successfully developed over 35 developments totaling approximately 3500 apartment units with a combined development cost exceeding $450 million. Due to the intricate nature of these projects, Jody’s background has provided him with a distinct skillset, with expertise in all areas of multifamily housing development, construction project management, and asset valuation.
