Scope Of Work
Our team worked on an RFoG cable network system that served a subdivision of single-family homes. Our responsibilities included preparing and connecting outside plant enclosures to distribution points for customers and splicing 96ct and 216ct fiber cables. Also, we provided fiber testing, OTDR reports, and troubleshooting services as needed. One splicing assignment involved installing a 216ct fiber cable from the headend to the primary connection point for customers. The connection point, a 2-shelf, rack mount enclosure, lacked needed hardware to secure the cable and stalled the installation process. To expedite installation, our team fabricated hardware to secure the cable. The client was delighted with our solution. They frequently sought our advice for problems that surfaced throughout the project.
