Scope Of Work
The scope of this project included the removal of existing IG units and ribbon window framing and replacement with new materials along with new fenestration being cut in the by the GC that allowed us to install new storefront framing and operable vents.
Challenges included the discovery of steel columns in the wall cavity after cutting openings for new windows which limited the size of the operable vent.
The GC accepted my recommendation to add a vertical mullion to the storefront frames and spandrel glass to conceal the columns.
The GC and the owner expressed their satisfaction with the end product that we delivered.
