Five Starr Truss Company Llc was started out of Rod Cory's struggle to find a truss company that could meet his needs, standards and time line in his pole barn business Five Starr Metal Builders. Rod Cory and Robert Mathews teamed up to produce trusses for the business. Robert being a long time industry leader started receiving phone calls from friends and past colleges urging him to sell wood trusses to the public. Robert made a few calls and was able to talk a couple of friends out of retirement from the truss business. Sheldon Edgell and Coy Fuqua joined the Five Starr team and things took off. Sheldon brought his 20 plus years of design capability to the operation and Coy his 15 plus years of contacts and friends. We haven't looked back since. We have brought the competitive edge back to the business, growing relationships with very competitive pricing, outstanding quality  and a tendinous attitude about serving our customers.
