Scope Of Work

THE CHALLENGE

An apartment community in Houston experienced severe water damage from both Hurricane Harvey and an earlier-than-planned reservoir water release, impacting three hundred units and several other buildings, requiring contents inventory, disposal, and cleaning, water extraction, interior and exterior demolition, interior framing, and exterior sheathing.

THE OUTCOME

ATI completed the project on time by using state-of-the-art thermal imaging to pinpoint water damage and ensure complete dry-down of all impacted surfaces, and nationwide ATI crews were dispatched to ensure proper equipment and manpower was present to complete the extensive response required on schedule.

THE SITUATION

Hurricane Harvey and an earlier-than-planned reservoir water release severely damaged the Carroll at Green Trails apartment community in Houston. Three hundred units, the leasing office, the maintenance garage and the pool cabana were affected.

THE SOLUTION

ATI quickly deployed a team of large loss experts and equipment to assess the massive water damage, craft a comprehensive plan and launch a recovery effort. Services included contents inventory, disposal and cleaning, water extraction, interior demolition, exterior demolition, interior framing and exterior sheathing. ATI used state-of-the-art thermal imaging to pinpoint water damage and ensure complete dry-down of all impacted surfaces.

To expedite the recovery, crew members from ATI offices across the country were dispatched to oversee the work. With the additional manpower, technical expertise and appropriate equipment at its disposal, ATI completed the project on time.
