Scope Of Work
PKCV Waco Data Partners went to the downtown historic district of Waco, Texas with a vision of a first-class colocation data center. Design and renovation of a 43,000 SF cold war era nuclear fallout shelter was in collaboration with city officials to give the building both a look that fit with the city’s revitalized historic district and the function and security required by the data center users.
StrongBox Commercial worked with the City of Waco and local utility providers to install redundant power feeds to the facility, multiple generator backups, and redundant cooling systems. All the mechanical systems were concealed to maintain the historic nature of the building.
