Scope Of Work

SEATAC INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, DESIGN, INSTALL, TEST, AND TRAIN PERSONNEL FOR TELEMETERED STROM WATER SAMPLING STAIONS
Kinnetic Laboratories provided instrumentation and installation assistance to the Seattle Tacoma International Airport and their consultant Taylor Associates for storm water monitoring stations asrequired by their NPDES Discharge permit. Instrumentation provided and installed were based upon the telemetered urban storm water monitoring stations developed by Kinnetic Laboratories and utilizing Campbell Scientific networking instrumentation. Using these installations, Taylor Associates has carried out several years of successful monitoring of storm events as required by the permit. Using software provided, storm are tracked into the area, station are programmed remotely appropriate to the given storm event, and flow composited samples are obtained to document runoff water quality and quantity of storm water discharges by operations from this major international airport.
