Scope Of Work

The project involved the construction of a new 16-story residential building with steel, plank, and masonry construction. Similar to the aforementioned project, major utilities from City Grid, grading, site work, curbs, and asphalt parking were also part of the scope.

The Menotti team conducted pre-task planning for all construction trades as they mobilized onto the site. We took part in all weekly meetings to create upcoming tasks with trades, identify potential risks, and lay out all safety requirements. Our team played a role in all major hazardous tasks including tower crane installation, crane lifting task planning, and fire-related tasks.

As is the case with many of our projects, we served as the primary liaison with NYC’s BEST Squad inspectors, along with the owner, contractors, construction managers, subcontractors, and all trades. We took it upon ourselves to make sure all who entered the construction site had the proper and required credentials. Menotti also held an initial project orientation for all trades starting day one.

At Menotti Enterprise, our job is to reduce all risk and liability to everyone who owns and enters the site. This means preparing a construction site safety plan and offering detailed engineered drawings. We’re pleased to say we protected the public, workers, and nearby properties during all phases of this $100M project.
