Scope Of Work
The four-story Denton County Administration Complex involved 95,795 square feet of new construction, including a commissioners court with judge and commissioners suites and support services, a county justice of the peace court, and spaces for constable and human resources departments. Phase III also included over 12 acres of site development for parking, a community park, and water quality and utility improvements.
The new structure boasts prominent architectural features, such as its dome, which peaks at 207 feet. Including the scheduling and 3D modeling of the crane pick of the dome itself, the project showcased Sundt’s use of cutting-edge technology. Synchro modeling of the P6 schedule, drone modeling and other BIM technology were used to help the project team and subcontractors stay on the same page.
