Brandi is the CFO of our TDK Development, LLC and Keach Investments, GP companies. She manages the accounting procedures for all ownership and investment entities as well as new projects under development, coordinating with the Development team and Asset Management team through every aspect of a project. She also manages financials of TDK owned properties through construction, lease up and stabilization, reporting to lenders and auditors for budgets, capital improvements, escrows, annual tax returns and audits. She provides monthly financial analysis to all owners and provides quarterly ownership financials to financial institutions. Brandi joined TDK in 2010 following five years of accounting and financial work with a residential and commercial development company.

Liz began working at TDK in 1984 and is responsible for their financial operations. Based in the Kentucky office, she oversees the preparation for the annual financial statement audits, U.S. Housing and Urban Development project audits, corporate compliance, detailed job costing, subcontractor billing, payroll operations, contractor licensing, and tax payments in the various states where TDK holds assets. Because she has managed the finances as the company evolved from constructing schools, municipal buildings, and student housing to developing multifamily housing, Liz is able to offer project managers with valuable insight to stay on budget. Her institutional knowledge based on three decades of construction accounting experience through recessions and sustained periods of growth provides a unique perspective as TDK continues to grow its assets.

Drew joined TDK in 2006 and oversees the Construction side of TDK including all of the construction division’s on-site and office personnel, all TDK estimating, and coordinates the projects from the bidding process through closeout. During his time with TDK, he has worked in nine different states on more than 50 projects that vary from military, student, senior, and multifamily housing. Drew graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Concrete Management, a unique degree providing a diversification of the understanding of concrete and the multiple high scale concrete technology and techniques. He sits on the MTSU Board of Directors for the Concrete and Construction Department and the Commercial Construction Department. In his spare time, Drew is an ultra-runner, participating in competitive events that cover up to 100 miles, and a Crossfit participant. The mental toughness required for an extreme sport athlete helps Drew push himself in his personal and professional life to accomplish the goals he sets. In his free time, Drew enjoys watching and coaching football, baseball, cross country, and track for his two kids.

Brandon closely coordinates with the job site superintendents and sub-contractors and is responsible for overseeing project contracts, financial projections, budgeting, and scheduling. He brought 15 years of experience as an electrician and project manager when he joined TDK in 2022. Originally from Chattanooga, Brandon attended Chattanooga State where he played on the baseball team. After transferring to Cleveland State, he suffered a career-ending shoulder injury leading him to join the Chattanooga Electrical Apprenticeship program. With 7 years of experience as an electrician working on job sites, Brandon shifted to the management side of commercial and residential development. Married with three boys and one girl, his summers are spent coaching baseball.

Gavin is responsible for managing the scheduling, contracts, and budgets for a number of construction projects. Before joining TDK in 2015 when he graduated from Middle Tennessee State University, Gavin interned at TDK for two years while completing his degree in the Construction Management program with a specialization in Commercial Construction. Gaining field experience as a college intern enabled him to immediately be able to handle a broad array of assignments when he started on a full-time basis. A 4-year letterman on the MTSU basketball team, Gavin believes in always being prepared, working every day to improve your craft, and to always push yourself to be better than yesterday. This work ethic helped him quickly earn a promotion to project manager in 2017. The team mentality he learned on the basketball court benefits him now in his professional role as he maintains relationships with local investors while working with the superintendents, subcontractors, and laborers to see a project to a successful completion.

Jessica helps to oversee TDK Construction's daily operational systems, processes, and infrastructure. She is responsible for all traditional and HUD project accounts receivable. She collaborates daily with other team members to ensure seamless business execution, reinforce positive morale, and uphold company values. As the Procore Administrator for TDK, Jessica plays a role in the long-term planning, set up, status reporting, and implementation of processes for all TDK projects. She works closely with the VP of Operations on other special planning projects. She is also responsible for the reporting of TDK project metrics. Jessica graduated cum laude from Middle Tennessee State University in Early Childhood Education. She spent the following three years teaching. With strong organizational skills and driven by a desire to help others, Jessica switched gears specializing in database management and grant writing for two non-profit organizations prior to joining TDK in 2018.

Joey works closely with architects and superintendents making sure a project is built according to the site plans and within construction schedule. He coordinates contracts for his projects, communicates with sub-contractors, reviews all pay applications, and makes sure the project stays within the construction budget. Joey joined TDK in 2017 after graduating from Middle Tennessee State University in Concrete Industry Management. As a teenager, he helped his father build a lake house. The experience of just the two of them completing all the necessary tasks provided a good background that helped mold him for his role with TDK. He was raised with a philosophy of doing everything the right way and he brings those values to every project, so no unique details are overlooked.

John manages the day to day operations of the construction division for TDK where he is responsible for developing the construction schedule, managing the maintenance equipment, budgeting for the contract’s scope of work, and coordinating the project through closeout. Before John entered college at Middle Tennessee State University, he had worked construction on sites in Tennessee, Texas, and Alabama. As TDK evolved from a construction company to development and asset ownership, John served multiple roles in the company and has been involved in the development of more than 8,000 multifamily units. John also serves as the pilot for TDK which allows himself and other leadership to regularly visit projects across the markets they serve in the Southeast and Southwest.

Kris oversees the budgets, works daily with superintendents on the planning and direction, and coordinates subcontractors to provide the right team for a successful construction project. A graduate from Middle Tennessee State University’s Construction Management program, Kris had 3 years of commercial construction experience prior to joining TDK in 2012. With a focus on multifamily housing, he completed thirteen projects totaling more than 3,000 units during his first ten years with TDK. The strong work ethic, emphasis on teamwork, and focus on every detail are traits he learned playing college football that have served him well in his duties at TDK. Kris believes that preparation is the key to delivering a quality project. By being properly prepared, focusing on every aspect of the project, and communicating with his superintendents, Kris is able to take a project that looks good on paper and make sure it gets executed properly and turned into a successful project.

Mary Rose is responsible for managing the internal operations of the office, assists the Operations Manager with traditional and HUD project accounts receivables, assisting new employees with their paperwork, and managing all aspects of the company’s insurance policies. She is OSHA 30 certified and is the OSHA/ Safety coordinator for all projects. Mary Rose graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a degree in Business Administration and a major in Accounting. Prior to joining TDK in 2020, she handled the accounting for the Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce and brings 18 years of prior experience working as an accountant. Mary Rose enjoys spending her free time with her family hiking in Tennessee’s state parks or painting.

Heather joined TDK in 2014 and works on the predevelopment framework of all upcoming projects. Her oversight varies from working with cities on bonding and zoning requirements to communicating with TDK partners on project budgets. Prior to TDK, Heather worked for a law firm where she reviewed and drafted contract documents. That experience helped her develop her contract skills which she uses when negotiating telecommunications contracts and managing the land contracts. Heather is responsible for the development budgets for ownership on all projects as well as contract timelines prior to construction. She holds both a Bachelor of Science degree and Master’s degree in Business Administration from MTSU and is an active member of World Outreach Church.

Ross is responsible for the daily operations of the Development division. He supervises the market and site selection, product type selection, and plan production. Ross joined TDK in 2008 to lead the company's development team. Inspired by the opportunity to take an idea on paper and make it a reality, he along with the help of his inhouse team and a host of development partners have overseen the development of over $1.8 billion in assets across the Southeastern United States. Throughout this process, his responsibilities have included market analysis, site selection, and design oversight. His desire to create is not limited to real estate alone. In 2013, Ross and his family helped found Clayton Bradley Academy in Maryville, Tennessee. This private STEM school prides itself as a unique model that empasizes problem solving, critical thinking, and applying real-world applications. Ross is a graduate of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for Middle Tennessee Electric and World Outreach Church.

John David works directly with the TDK Asset Manager on existing and prospective properties. He analyzes financial data and performance for TDK properties, prepares reports and projections based on that analysis, and communicates findings to all levels of the organization. John David grew up watching his father build a career in commercial real estate and developed a passion for being involved in how a property can grow to bring a return on the investment. John David earned a degree in Finance from Middle Tennessee State University and is responsible for maintaining the TDK Investor Management Platform, exploring investment opportunities, providing financial models, identifying trends in financial performance, and providing recommendation for improvement. When not working, John David enjoys working out, hunting, and playing golf.

Mallory assists the development team in multiple facets of interior and exterior plans from the first stages of planning and development throughout stabilization. She assists the asset manager with managing TDK’s portfolio at all stages including promotional and marketing decisions, making sure property management is running the asset smoothly, and implementing ideas to improve the asset. Following graduation from Middle Tennessee State University in 2017, Mallory began her work in property management and was involved with leasing up multiple TDK assets. Using her expertise in operations on site, she oversees budgets for stabilized properties, assists in billing for the communities and ensures the transition from development through lease up is smooth for the management team all the way through stabilization. In her free time, Mallory loves spending time with friends and family and getting outdoors for adventure with her dog Otis. Mallory is also interested in commercial and residential real estate.

Vickie is the General Accountant of TDK Development, Asset Management, Aviation, and Keach Investments. She brings more than 25 years’ experience in accounting and bookkeeping. Vickie is responsible for handling the balance sheet reports, bank reconciliations, AP and AR for multiple developments and bank accounts. She handles all pre-development reporting analysis and project credit card expenditures. Vickie is originally from Yazoo City, Mississippi but has lived in Tennessee for 24 years. She was a member of The National Honor Society of Yazoo City High School and Phi Theta Kappa at Hinds Community College earning a degree in Business Management. After raising four children, she went back to college and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Phoenix. With eight grandchildren, Vickie enjoys spending her free time watching lots of ball games.

Zach brings more than 10 years of accounting experience to his role as Controller. He is a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Internal Auditor, and Magna Cum Laude graduate of the University of Southern Indiana. He manages accounting records and is responsible for the production of financial projections, cash for projections, and monitoring budgets to actual costs on all projects. Zach manages the overall strategy for all tax transactions and ensures that the financial reports are issued on time and in accordance to generally accepted accounting principles. Originally from Evansville, Indiana, Zach works in the Henderson, Kentucky office. He currently serves on the University of Southern Indiana Accounting Board helping to provide a channel of communication between the accounting profession and the academic accounting environment. Previously, he served as board treasurer for the Wesselman Woods Nature Preserve, which works to protect the Wesselman Woods and Howell Wetlands for future generations. Zach is married with a young son.

Ben joined TDK in the spring of 2022 as General Counsel and manages the legal intricacies of the firm’s construction and development companies. His experience in litigation provides TDK with a strong legal insight to risk analysis and strategic planning for the implementation of TDK’s vision of providing high quality multifamily communities. Ben has been a licensed attorney since 2008. Prior to joining TDK, Ben was a Partner in the firm, Waldron, Fann & Parsley, where he litigated cases throughout the State of Tennessee. Ben handled a wide variety of litigation cases throughout his career having practiced in State Court, all three Federal District Courts in Tennessee, and the 6th Circuit Court of Appeals. Ben received his undergraduate degree from the University of Tennessee and his JD from the Nashville School of Law. Ben is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association, sits on the St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital Foundation Board, and serves as a Providence Christian Academy Trustee. Ben and his wife, Maggie, have three children, (Minnie, Tully, & Wren) and are long-standing resident of Murfreesboro.

Carson prepares financial models for the acquisition, development, and disposition of investment deals in the TDK pipeline. He interacts with property managers and leasing agents as properties move into the final construction phase to facilitate remaining details. He oversees budgets for existing projects and analyzes the operating statements and other financial data. Carson passed the CFA Level I Exam and is currently a candidate for the Level II Exam. Prior to joining TDK in 2019, Carson worked in the finance department for a retail developer in Chattanooga following graduation from the University of Tennessee Chattanooga in 2016. While in college working toward his major in Finance, he participated in several internships and found a passion for real estate investments. Carson draws inspiration from taking a tangible asset and finding a unique way to make it more valuable. In his free time, Carson enjoys running, hunting, playing tennis, and golfing.

Corrinne Vongphakdy is the Contract Administrator for TDK and manages the administration of contract records for subcontractors and clients on all construction projects, making sure contracts are produced and finalized on time to get projects underway, and processes all change orders. As the main point of contact for the bidding in the pre-construction phase, she manages the subcontractors’ Requests for Information, bids, and plan revisions. Prior to joining TDK in 2019, Corrinne spent seven years in various teaching roles. Upon earning a Communications Degree from Mississippi College, Corrinne began work as a pre-school teacher before she was called to move overseas for two years to do missionary work. When she returned to the United States, she resumed teaching pre-school and English as a second language classes. Corrinne loves photography and shoots both portrait and landscape as a hobby.

Lyren joined TDK in 2005 and oversees the financial reports on the cost sheets and materials for the construction division. She is responsible for certifying the payrolls for every HUD project and preparing cost sheets for all HUD audits where she will assist the auditors when they are on site. Lyren also assists the Chief Financial Officer with daily operations and preparation of yearly financial audits and helps the independent auditors on final tie outs. With three children and a husband who is a school teacher and high school golf coach, Lyren spends a great deal of her spare time attending school functions and helping her husband maintain updated player statistics. Lyren enjoys cooking and between her children, their friends, and her husband's team members, she always has eager volunteers to try her new recipes.
