Scope Of Work
Evergreen Solar Inc. Solar Panel Manufacturing Plant uses Evergreen Solar Inc. String Ribbon™ wafer technology to fabricate their solar panels. The entire manufacturing process is accomplished within this476,000 square foot building, from raw materials to panel assembly. The 220,000 square feet ofd manufacturing space are supported by 166,000 square feet of mechanical space, 60,000 square feet of warehouse space and 30,000 square feet of offices.
This project was completed on an ultra fast track schedule. With a strong emphasis on collaboration and teamwork, Phase 1 of this project went from the ground breaking ceremony to manufacturing of wafers in just nine months.
