Scope Of Work
Puyenpa Services LLC was contracted by the General Services Administration to provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to repair 5,000 square feet and 3,100 linear feet of concrete in the North Parking Garage of the Columbia Plaza Federal Building in Washington, D.C. The building has a ground floor and seven stories of office space, a penthouse for mechanical systems, a basement and sub basement partially used for parking. The structural concrete in the parking garage and loading dock deteriorated, primarily due to corroding reinforced steel. We were also asked to remove and restore any pipe supports or drains and restore any existing electrical, mechanical, or fire alarm components that are found to be in need of relocation or upgrading. Since it is an occupied space, all necessary noise and dust protection will be taken to minimize disruption to ongoing building activities.
