Hover Solutions, LLC has been using drones to provide aerial imaging to the construction and commercial real estate industries since 2016.  We have the equipment and expertise to provide high quality, dynamic photos, highly accurate maps and 3D models, videos for marketing or progress tracking, thermal imaging for inspections, and many other imaging products and services.

We specialize in drone work inside the Washington, DC flight restricted zone (DC FRZ).  We have received over 200 airspace authorizations since 2018 to fly our drones inside the DC FRZ, something that few drone companies can do with knowledge, experience, and efficiency. We are well known and trusted by all the federal and local security agencies involved in legal drone operations in the area.

We can bring aerial imaging benefits to every stage of the construction process: 

• Planning and development - land mapping, 3D modeling of existing land features and structures, documentation of initial status of land or buildings, facade and roof inspections (visible and thermal). We work with your survey and engineering people to create highly accurate and actionable images.
  
• Construction - we have provided regular image packages to construction clients to document their construction progress and help them monitor and plan every stage.  Our images have helped clients resolve disputes with contractors, catch errors before they get costly, estimate volumetric quantities for next-stage actions, document insurance claims, and illustrate reports to investors.  We can do weekly site visits to capture all the details of the site as it is going through it's stages of development.
  
• Completion and marketing - we can provide high quality photos and video clips showing off the work done and promoting the project for marketing purposes.
  

We started Hover Solutions to harness the power of new technology to serve in several industries.  Drones are basically flying computers, and can carry cameras and sensors of different types, providing a perspective of the construction progress that was only available before from planes, helicopters, or static cranes.  Our drones, with our experienced pilots and professional insurance, can move safely throughout a site and around it to get images quickly and efficiently, images that would take hours or days to acquire if done by a person holding a camera on scaffolding, cranes, or lifts. Safe and professional drone use on construction sites have brought new efficiency and cost savings, and new insights and data, that were impossible or very costly before.
