Enrique Evins is the President and Operations Manager. He has been
working in the construction industry for over 30 years. He started out
working with his father after school or on weekends counting hollow
metal doors and frames for high-rise estimates.
After high school, he took a course in drafting and started carving
his path in the construction industry in the trenches. He started as a
laborer on job sites. During Hurricane Andrew, Enrique lost everything
and jumped in the back of a truck and started helping in the
rebuilding efforts of South Florida, from Miami to Key West. As a
carpenter/carpenter foreman, He worked on Harris Field, the Race
Track, multi-units, mid-rises, and residential homes.
In 1997, Enrique started Friendly's Properties Inc. He engaged in
multiple partnerships flipping residential homes and investment
properties. As a part of his offerings, Enrique also installed
millwork for studios, commercial buildouts in Aventura Mall, Bal
Harbor Shops, Dadeland, Falls, Dolphin, Boca Town Center, and Gardens
Mall to name a few.
In 2000, Enrique decided to join a small high-end retail builder
where he flourished as Superintendent building retail and restaurants.
He was promoted to General Superintendent in 2008 and eventually, Vice
President of Field Operations. In his tenure at this company, he
managed superintendents and field staff. Enrique created systems to
manage fast pace projects.
As a leader, he was involved in projects like Benihana's, Buffalo
Wind Wings, Emeril's, Zuma, Coya, Lipi, Sugar, La Centrale, Komodo,
the list is too long to mention. He also worked on hospitality, banks,
Fisher Island, and many more. In 2018, Enrique decided to start a
spinoff of Friendly's Properties, Evins Construction LLC.
