Tile Manufacturer Storage Expansion
Florida Tile had invested in technology to create new products and needed to enlarge their storage capacity to match the growing demands. Denham-Blythe provided design-build services to create increased storage capacity on an expedited schedule
Severe site conditions required 17' of fill be placed for new building pad to match existing facility floor levels
18,000 sf of high-pile combustible storage area required upgraded fire protection and architectural detailing
Constructed 19 truck docks
Supported by 4,400 forklift charging station and 2,900 maintenance area
Placed 154,000 sf of roller-compacted concrete for exterior loading zones and storage
Built new bypassing entrance road and weigh station
Brought in new electrical service to handle increased needs
