Additions and Renovations to New Distribution Center
Kroger had purchased a spacious existing warehouse but required several improvements to elevate it to their needs. Denham-Blythe provided design-build services to a schedule demanding project.
Accommodated mid-project scope change from facility offices to main administrative offices for regional distribution centers
Designed and built 7,900 sf interior 2-story office addition
Constructed 7,700 sf support maintenance area with offices
Upgraded existing facility utilities for forklift charging stations
Site improvements to ensure efficient and safe truck navigation around 33 dock facility
Accelerated phase scheduling to receive temporary certificate of occupancy allowing shipping & receiving as soon as possible
