Joy Gordon's Bio
Joy Gordon-Phillips is a native of Cantonment, Florida. Following high school she attended the University of West Florida, where she graduated with her Associate of Arts Degree. After transferring to Auburn University she quickly learned of her intense passion for construction. Joy graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Building Science/Construction and a Minor in Business. With a combined experience of 20 years in the construction industry, and projects varying in cost from $50,000 to $79,000,000, she continues to pursue new challenges and opportunities. Joy has a reputation as a proven leader in construction, which can be quickly confirmed through the relationships she has built in this community. War Eagle!

April Pawless's Bio
April has work for Joy Gordon Construction since August of 2015. She is in charge of all administrative functions in the office as well as account payables. April has worked in construction for many years, she also has a background in collections and photography. April has lived in Pensacola most of her life, she graduated from Escambia High School in 1999. She also has received an A.A.S in Photography and a A.A. In General Studies from Pensacola State Collage. She is very active in the PTA at her daughter’s school, a devote book reader and an avid Florida State Seminoles football fan.
Steve Broom's Bio
A native of Crestview, Fl., Steve earned his AS Degree in Mechanical Drafting & Design from Okaloosa-Walton Community College. After graduating, Steve joined the United States Army in 2001. He served our nation for 5 years, with 2 Combat Tours in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom under the command of the Army's 3Ro Infantry Division. Upon completion of his service contract, Steve returned to Northwest Florida to start his own business in heavy equipment operation. After nearly 8 years of successful self-employment, Steve chose to attend the University of West Florida to earn his Bachelor's Degree in Building Construction. Steve is currently the Lead Superintendent for Joy Gordon Construction, LLC in Pensacola.
