Scope Of Work
Creation of fragrances and flavors for the world’s most desirable brands.
This 60,000 square foot plant utilizes automated compounding technology and flexible manufacturing processes to ensure continued support for the ever-changing needs of its diverse customer base.
Establishing this operation within the former pharmaceutical manufacturing building that was acquired and leased to Agilex required careful coordination and planning. From demolition to completion, the project included miles of stainless steel process piping, tubing and process logic automation controls wiring all within a Class 1 Division 1 hazard environment. All new mechanical, electrical, and sprinkler systems service the new facility including explosion proof units and spill containments.
Installation and coordination of raw materials tanks, mixing tanks, and automated mixing valves and fill stations enable a diverse amount of precision formulations. After completion of this facility, Agilex was acquired by Firmenich citing its new facility in New Jersey as a primary driver of the sale.
