KWJ Construction, Inc.

Kipp Johnson joined HB Boys LC (a developer who builds, runs, and operates several different national franchises) in 1989 as the maintenance supervisor and was later promoted to construction manager. Over the years, Kipp managed and oversaw the construction, development and remodeling of commercial buildings. These projects included restaurants like Burger King, Subway, Costa Vida Mexican Grill, and coffee shops; as well as gas stations, convenience stores and small retail buildings.  Through the years, he developed a close working relationship with the owners that has continued to this day.   In addition, Kipp’s outstanding results were recognized by Burger King National and his projects were showcased as the standard for the chain.

As construction manager, Kipp developed an extremely efficient and successful approach to remodels that allowed him to produce top quality results on a much shorter timeline than other contractors could accomplish. As other franchisees and developers became aware of Kipp’s results, they approached him for their own projects. As a result, Kipp founded KWJ Construction Inc. where he has continued to refine more efficient processes that allow for faster turnaround while maintaining the high-quality workmanship owners expect.  

KWJ Construction Inc. was established with three owners on January 17, 2014.  The owners have a combined experience of over 50 years in the construction industry. While we can and have done all types of construction projects, we specialize in small to medium retail buildings and quick serve restaurants.  Our scope of work includes site development, new builds, additions and remodels. 

Over the years we have worked to build strong, long-lasting relationships with our suppliers and subcontractors.   We feel it is important to build relationships we know will produce a consistently high-quality product that exceeds our client’s expectations.
