The VITAS Hospice facility in Delray Beach, Florida incorporates creative aesthetic and cutting-edge technology to provide the highest level of care for residents. It was imperative to design a facility that was a reflection of the VITAS brand, which provides palliative care informed by science and art. The facility is designed for flexibility, as VITAS prides itself in its interdisciplinary approach to hospice care. The building is equipped to handle the immediate physical needs of the body with 8 inpatient beds, but is also designed to manage the emotional, spiritual, and psychological well-being of residents and caregivers.
