Scope Of Work

Mechanical Scope of Work:

  • will provide and install (1) 700 ton Marley or equal cooling tower per bid documents (base bid). 
  • will provide and install (1) 700 ton Trane centrifugal chiller based on bid documents.  Please see options below for accessories with chiller.  This chiller is outdoor rated with UV protect paint and insulation.
  • will provide and install (1) new condenser pump B&G VSX-VSC-6x8x10-1/2A base mounted double suction; 2100 GPM @ 70’ TDH; 50 HPTEFC Prem. Eff. motor. With spacer coupling suitable for use on VFD operation.
  • will provide and install (1) new chill pump B&G VSX-VSC-6x8x13-1/2A base mounted double suction; 2240 GPM @ 150’ TDH; 125 HP TEFC Prem. Eff. motor. With spacer coupling suitable for use on VFD operation. 175 PSIG
  • will install (2) 10” Bray control valve bodies for the inlet and out of the chiller.
  • will provide the chill & condenser water piping as per the bid documents.
  • All anchoring of equipment will be per manufactures recommendations and structural engineer drawings.
  • will provide and install the necessary CHW piping, CW piping, and condensate drain piping, valves, fittings and specialties. Piping will be Blk sch 40 steel and copper Type “L” piping.  Seismic restraint of HVAC piping is included per code.
  • will provide and install the necessary chilled water piping insulation for the new system.
  • will provide rigging and setting of new HVAC equipment 110 ton crane with deliveries of equipment.
  • will provide and install piping insulation per title 24 and local codes.
  •  will provide water treatment for new plant similar to what is on building 3 this will be all equipment less chemical for system that will be provided by KLA Tencor.

 

Electrical Scope of Work:

  • Provide and install (1) 800-amp 480-volt 3Ø circuit from an existing circuit breaker in a switchboard at the back of the pad to the main connection point of the new chiller.
  • Provide and install (1) 60-amp 480-volt 3Ø circuit from an existing circuit breaker in a switchboard at the back of the pad to the main connection point of the cooling tower.
  • Provide and install (1) 125-amp 480-volt 3Ø circuit from an existing circuit breaker in a switchboard at the back of the pad to the main connection point of the chilled water pump.
  • Provide and install (1) 80-amp 480-volt 3Ø circuit from an existing circuit breaker in a switchboard at the back of the pad to the condenser pump. Includes weatherproof combination motor starter.
  • Provide and install (3) 120-volt connections for chemical feed pumps and controllers.
  • Provide and install (1) 120-volt convienece receptacle.
  • Provide and install (8) exterior lights.
  • Provide and install (1) timer switch to control the lights.
  • Provide and install (4) 1” conduits in the new slab for control wiring. Control wiring is not included in this quote.

 

Structural Steel Scope of Work:

  • New screen wall at soldier columns
  • Light gauge metal stud work.
  • Light gauge primed standing seem roof material set vertical on metal studs.
  • Both sides for up to 50 LF long by ten foot tall at eight foot in the air.
  • New metal screening and structural steel to be painted to match building standards.

 

Concrete Scope of Work:

  • New pads for new equipment:
  • El shaped surface pads for three cooling towers.  Pads to be up to 14.5’ long x 8” thick x 2.5’ x 2.5’ and come in pairs per cooler, similar to existing at building 3.  
  • Surface pads for three chiller set ups. 
  • Standalone pad at 5’x8’x6” thick. 
  • This portion of work includes dowels into existing surface at up to 20 per el shaped cooling tower footing.
  • New pier footings and soldier columns for 50 LF of screen wall.
  • Pier footings and columns at 10’ OC for a total of six for the 50 LF.
  • Pier footings with saw cut, demo and excavation to complete.  Up to 18” diameter, 12.5’ deep
  • Columns with up to five per side welded studs at 2” x 3/4" dia.  Up to 19.02 pounds per foot material (examples of maximum included: 8x4x1/4 or 6x6x1/4) with one coat of primer while at shop. 
  • Includes shop drawings.

 

Mobilization Scope of Work:

  • Ranger will mobilize labor and equipment to your project location.
  • Ranger will pull all necessary permits and stand inspections.
  • Prior to beginning our work, Ranger will take appropriate measures to protect the area’s integrity.
