Scope Of Work

To address growth in the district, Coldwater Community Schools made the decision to close an outdated elementary and regrade to improve operational efficiencies.

This new two-story 4/5 elementary building, located adjacent to the middle school, high school, and aquatics center, reduces busing and parent drop-off times, provides educational benefits, and eliminates instructional time lost due to staff traveling between buildings.

Project scope included:

A new bus loop, with delivery area,

Visitor/event parking,

A new playground,

Technology improvements, and

Modern furnishing and 21st century learning spaces

This project was part of an overall $29.75 million bond project, passed in 2017.
