Scope Of Work
Two story 36 units of permanent supportive housing for families in the Brainerd Park community of Chicago. Safeway- JJ Duffy Joint Venture provided preconstruction services from early preliminary budget to a lump sum contract which evolved into this two story apartment building that provides a variety of apartments types for families. Duffy is providing construction services construct this wood frame facility complete with exterior of brick and fiber cements siding of horizontal lap and panels.
The 1 and 2 bedroom units have 1 full bath and the 3 and 4 bedroom units have 2 full baths. The site includes a 28 car paved parking lot, landscaping with a patio for the residents as well as a playground.
Located across from the Brainerd Park Metra Station it is a Transit Oriented Development (TOD) that provides train service to downtown Chicago for families in 20 minutes.
