D.W. Ward Construction Co., Inc.

Following in the footsteps of his grandfather, who was a builder, Donald W. Ward started D. W. Ward Construction Company, Incorporated in Durham, North Carolina over thirty-eight years ago.  Don desired to work in an industry where he could use his inherited abilities to build quality project for his clients and satisfy his personal desire for visual results.

Don serves as Vice President of the company and his son, Andy, serves as President.  Andy grew up in the construction business helping his father after school, on the weekends, and during the summer.  A four-year apprenticeship program gave him technical knowledge of the business, and after thirty-four years of practical experience, he has moved through all phases of the industry. Don has now retired and Andy has bought the company, beginning a new phase in the Ward family legacy.

Don and Andy are both grateful for the success of this company and continue to serve its clients with a sense of urgency, honesty, and integrity, that forms the foundation of D. W. Ward Construction Company.  The concern for the client’s satisfaction is a top priority.  They understand the client’s need to maintain a budget and receive a top-quality end product of which ALL can be proud.
