Christian Cornelius-Knudsen's Bio
Christian is a visionary leader with a proven track record of transforming domestic and global manufacturing and service businesses. He has more than 25 years of experience serving in leadership roles for prominent organizations focused on international manufacturing and service. Throughout his career, Christian has specialized in driving human capital and business strategy initiatives which have led to scaled growth and international development.
Prior to joining KBS, Christian served as Senior Vice President of Global Sales and Services for Brain Corp, a company with a focus on automated commercial cleaning technology. In that role, he was responsible for the company’s robotics technology, commercialization, market development, and global expansion. He was also responsible for the company’s OEM manufacturing, supplier, and customer partnerships around the world. Prior to Brain Corp he served as President and CEO of Nilfisk-Advance, Americas for 13 years.
He led the company’s successful turnaround to become the industry leader in design, manufacture, and marketing of professional cleaning equipment. He holds an MBA from the IMD Business School and a Master of Law from the University of Copenhagen.
Cynthia Kellogg's Bio
Cynthia Kellogg is EVP of M&A Business Development where she takes a lead role in M&A activity. She brings over 25 years of experience in both private and public companies, franchise and international operations, M&A, as well as both turnaround and fast growth environments. She served as CFO of Bergensons Property Services Inc., a KBS predecessor company, and her contributions in that role were strategic and long-lasting. She served as Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of Jenny Craig International and was instrumental in driving business enhancement, culminating in a successful sale to Nestlé. Cynthia previously held CFO positions at a number of non-regulated subsidiaries of Alliant Energy, a $5 billion electric utility holding company, and prior to that served 10 years with Continental Can Company in increasingly responsible finance positions.
Cynthia holds a BA in mathematics from Smith College and a Masters Degree in Industrial Administration from Carnegie-Mellon University.

Elva De La Torre's Bio
Elva is responsible for the customer service, vendor compliance and purchasing functions. She joined KBS in 2000 in an entry-level accounting role and has held a number of leadership roles with increasing responsibility. Over the course of her career at the company, Elva has led the accounts receivable and accounts payable functions, eventually becoming Accounting Manager of Bergensons Property Services where she directed the company’s major financial functions. Following the merger with Kellermeyer Building Services, Elva became Vice President of managed services eventually adding compliance and corporate operations to her responsibilities, which included oversight of all aspects of the customer relations, accounting, and operations functions. Her accomplishments include creating processes for basic business functions from the ground up to support the company as it grew. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business management and administration from California State University San Marcos.
Fergus O Connell's Bio
As Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Fergus oversees all matters related to finance, accounting, tax, treasury and mergers and acquisitions (M&A). He joined KBS following the acquisition of Pristine Environments, where he was CFO and led the integration into KBS. Prior to this, Fergus was Chief Financial Officer and Interim CEO of ISS North America, the large multinational facilities services company headquartered in Denmark. There, he was tasked with the integration of previous acquisitions, developing a strong central team and driving the turn-around of the business. Prior to moving to the US, Fergus was Deputy CFO for the ISS UK & Ireland business and previous to that had increasingly more senior roles in finance and operations in the construction & facilities management industries as both a client and contractor.
Fergus holds a Bachelor of Business Studies from the University of Limerick and is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (UK).
Mark Minasian's Bio
Mark is a highly regarded industry executive with more than 30 years of leadership experience in facility services outsourcing. His entry into the market began in 1984 when, along with his brother and sister, he co-founded Bergensons Property Services Inc. in San Diego, California.
In 2000, he began the successful national expansion of the firm by focusing on retail service contract consolidations. By 2004, Bergensons was operating in 32 states. In 2005, Mark and management partnered with a Boston-based private equity firm and in 2007, he was named CEO. By 2010, Bergensons operated in all 50 states and Puerto Rico. In 2011, Mark partnered with Kohlberg and Company and Kellermeyer Building Services to form Kellermeyer Bergensons Services, LLC (KBS). In 2014, after successfully leading the transformational KBS merger, Mark partnered with GI Partners positioning KBS as the leading technology-enabled, multi-sector facility services platform in North America. After continued growth in both existing and new market sectors, in 2019 Mark led the company into a new chapter of development as KBS transitioned to an affiliate of Cerberus Capital Management, L. P.
In 2020, as the COVID-19 crisis fundamentally changed entire business landscapes, Mark successfully led the KBS team in a major pivot for the company deepening partnerships at scale, keeping essential services operating and allowing for the reopening of many business sectors. Mark’s leadership continues to focus on delivering healthy operations that enable clients to stay ahead of the curve during these dynamic times.
Mark holds a Bachelor of Arts in international relations from The University of San Diego and served as a captain in the United States Army Reserve.
Vicki Bernholz's Bio
Vicki is a highly accomplished senior executive with a demonstrated history of leading best-in-class human resources organizations. As Chief Human Resources Officer, she oversees the human resources, benefits and communications functions for KBS and its portfolio companies. Prior to joining KBS, Vicki headed HR, benefits, payroll and other functions for Plum Healthcare Group, a leading provider of post-acute care services. Other companies in which she has led HR functions include Lithium Technologies, The Gap and SuccessFactors, and she has worked in businesses that include retail, grocery, and discount chains. At Gap, Vicki designed and implemented a global HR operations department and built a field HR and recruiting team. Other notable professional accomplishments include successful large-scale expansion and merger integration leadership, process improvement, turnover reduction, lowered costs and stronger compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Vicki holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Houston and an MBA from the University of Dallas. She has certifications in six sigma black belt, project management from Stanford University and is a certified public accountant.
Zulfiqar Rashid's Bio
Zulfiqar is responsible for all aspects of KBS’s field operations, customer service and information technology functions. He joined the company in 2015 and has nearly 30 years of experience in technology and general management across several industries, including government, defense, automotive, insurance and facilities management. During his tenure at KBS, Zulfiqar oversaw the development of KBSForce™, the company’s proprietary technology platform that provides real-time information and tools to enable field managers to ensure high-quality service to customers. Prior to joining KBS, he was the Chief Database Officer at Solera, Inc. and held several executive leadership positions at Mitchell International. Zulfiqar has Six Sigma lean certifications and is a founding member of DICE Information and Enabling Technology, an initiative of DICE Foundation that mobilizes technology professionals of Pakistani origin around the world to use their expertise and experience to grow the Information Technology sector in Pakistan. He holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science and an MBA with a minor in management information systems from Texas Tech University.
