Our Story
Celebrating our 75th anniversary in 2024, Mariani & Richards, Inc. has become synonymous with masonry restoration in Western Pennsylvania and beyond. We take great pride in the restoration of historically significant buildings. Our company has restored many of the region's most beautiful structures. We have restored Pittsburgh's St. Paul Cathedral, Sacred Heart Church, Omni William Penn Hotel, the Pennsylvanian, the Station Square complex, 420 Boulevard of the Allies and many others.
Additionally, we are currently restoring the Benedum Trees building, portions of the Allegheny County Courthouse and Doddridge County courthouse. We have also been entrusted with the restoration of portions of Carnegie Mellon University, Cornell University and Duquesne University. We believe that our unique experience puts us in a position to offer unparalleled service in the restoration of significant structures.
Furthermore, our company offers a labor force that operates to the very highest standard of our profession. We employ many skilled workmen who come from families that have been in the masonry trade for decades. They have an extensive working knowledge of any and all materials used in our industry and thorough familiarity with the proper applications for all products and services.
As a third-generation family business, started by our late patriarch Ed Mariani, we are extremely proud to operate in Pittsburgh. We have an attachment to, and a vested interest in, the restoration of this beautiful city. We will bring the utmost in professionalism, care and humility to any project we undertake.
