Scope Of Work
Tulagi's, the most fabled nightclub Boulder CO has ever known, where performers such as The Eagles, The Doobie Brothers, Linda Ronstadt, ZZ Top, and many others once showcased their talents, was taken apart and "lightened" up a bit by Russ T. Diamonds, Inc.
We completely gutted the interior, we cut the interior slab to access utilities, and we made several new openings on each level to allow natural sunlight in and lighten the place up.
Tulagi's had such a connection to the people of Boulder, our crews were consistently approached by residents. Some offered to pay us if they could take a brick or a stone from the rubble piles, others would tell stories of their experiences in the place, and others were very mad and threatened us with violence since we were taking apart what they viewed as a historic landmark.
The project had special circumstances, not only dealing with the public who wanted to let their opinions be known, but also the logistics getting our equipment in and also getting all the rubble/material out and properly disposed of.
